MIP’s Top 250 Women in IP covers 80 jurisdictions including the key markets for IP protection, exploitation and enforcement. It recognises female practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year. Some of them were also involved in IP advocacy and/or corporate social responsibility initiatives in their jurisdictions.

The list is published on an annual basis and is a result of rigorous and impartial industry research over a six-month period by a team of international researchers based in London, New York and Hong Kong. Data is obtained from law firms, IP agencies and in-house counsel through surveys and interviews. Inclusion is based solely on merit and recommendation by peers and clients.
