Thorsten Sinning is an external consultant to Pronovem (Part of the AWA Group) and specialised in electrical engineering, speech and signal processing, mobile communication and information technology.
Thorsten drafts and prosecutes patents and manages IP portfolios. He holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Technology RWTH Aachen, Germany.
In 2002, he graduated in telecommunication and speech recognition, after working as research assistant at the University Hospital in Aachen. He has broad technical expertise in mobile communication and computer science.
Thorsten worked as scientist in the university hospital of RWTH Aachen in research on the influence of modulated currents on human nerves and body tissue. While working at Philips IP&S and in private practice, he gained experience in patent prosecution and oppositions before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Office
At Deutsche Telekom, he works as a patent expert and IP manager for the consulting development and innovation departments in the telecommunication and software business. Further, he manages innovation management and licence agreements with suppliers on intellectual property.
