The Nordic countries remain strong in Global Innovation Index
The latest Global Innovation Index from EU has just been released. Just like last year Switzerland is ranked as no. 1 in the world and Sweden as no. 2, by a small margin before the UK. Denmark is ranked as no 9.
Several parameters within Innovation input and Innovation output are combined to get the figures for the innovation efficiency ratio in 142 countries. Examples of Innovation input are Infrastructure, Institutions, Market sophistication and Human capital & Research. The Innovation output consists of Knowledge & Technology outputs and Creative outputs.
