Angeline leads our Asia Hub practice, which assists clients in protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights throughout Southeast Asia and Greater China.

She specialises in cross-jurisdictional IP strategy and portfolio management and has worked across various industries, including technology, cosmetics and hygiene, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.

Angeline was previously the Head of Intellectual Property and Technology at a Southeast Asian technology company headquartered in Singapore. She led the IP team to a successful Nasdaq listing by establishing its IP infrastructure, including policies and an enforcement programme, and growing its patent, design, and trademark portfolios.

While head of IP and Technology, the IP team was awarded the IAM Asia IP Elite award from 2019 to 2023, and Angeline was also ranked as an IAM 300 IP Strategist during this time.

She was a Principal with Baker McKenzie, heading its Singapore IP portfolio management practice. Her clients included Fortune 500 companies in the media, cosmetics, fashion, electronics, FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. She was responsible for IP strategy across Asia and worked with Southeast Asian companies on global IP portfolios.

While with Baker McKenzie, she sat on the Myanmar Steering Committee and led the firm’s Brunei practice. She was also the Singapore representative on the APAA Emerging Rights and Designs Committees and served on the INTA Publications and Online Reference Committees. Angeline has spoken at IPBC and contributed to WTR, Bloomberg BNA, and IAM publications.
