Roberto Mastio is a Junior Associate at AWA’s Copenhagen office with a background in chemistry and life sciences. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Lund University, where he focused his research on carbohydrate chemistry and developing molecular tools and enzyme inhibitors.
His experience includes designing, synthesising, purifying, and characterising organic compounds, with particular expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and chemical biology. Before joining AWA, Roberto worked in academic research and taught at a university.
