Homam Mawaldi

Homam has a decade of experience as a software engineer in the tech industry, working on projects for startups and large companies. At AWA, he holds a Doctoral Position researching AI, specifically generative AI, and seeing how it can be utilised for patents and other use cases around the firm.

His expertise encompasses both front-end and back-end development. Homam has experience developing iOS, Android, and cross-platform applications using technologies like JavaScript with React and Dart with Flutter. Additionally, Homam has worked on web applications utilising PHP and modern JavaScript frameworks.

His interest in machine learning grew from exploring tools that allowed him to control computers with voice commands. This fascination led him to pursue a master’s in data science, with a thesis focused on leveraging Generative AI to create synthetic data.
