22 AWA attorneys across six jurisdictions featured in IAM Patent 1000

IAM has released the 2025 edition of the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals.
For the first time, Hongyue Li in China, Joanna Applequist in Sweden and Astrid De Ro in Switzerland have been included in the rankings as recommended individuals.
They join the following AWA attorneys already listed in the individual rankings:

Spanning litigation and prosecution categories and covering six jurisdictions across Europe and Asia, AWA has 22 attorneys listed as recommended individuals in the IAM Patent 1000.
In addition to the recommended individual rankings, AWA’s patent prosecution practice was recognised in Belgium, China, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. In Sweden, the litigation practice was also recommended.
AWA was further recognised in the international category for firms that have established a global presence and in the European Patent Office (EPO) category. Eva Carlsson and Niklas Mattsson were also listed as recommended individuals in the EPO category.
